An image-to-theme generator analyzes the pixel data of any photo, digital illustration, or wallpaper to extract its core color harmony. Rather than merely listing random pixels, ToolSphare's perceptual clustering groups colors by visual significance, isolates dominant background and surface hues, identifies vibrant accents, and constructs a balanced light and dark design system.

How Does Color Extraction Work?

When you upload an image, our client-side canvas engine safely downsamples a lightweight analysis copy. It calculates the Euclidean distance between colors in 3D color space, performs quantization, and extracts high-frequency clusters. Semantic design roles are then assigned to each cluster based on relative luminance and perceptual saturation.

Accessibility & WCAG 2.2 AA Contrast

Color aesthetics mean nothing if an interface is unreadable. ToolSphare automatically tests the relative luminance ratio of every generated text and button token against its background. If a color falls below the WCAG 2.2 AA threshold (4.5:1 for normal text, 3.0:1 for large text and buttons), our algorithm automatically adjusts the lightness while preserving the original hue.

Your uploaded images belong to you. Color extraction runs locally in your browser wherever possible. Uploaded images are never indexed by search engines, are never published publicly without explicit moderation review, and temporary working files are automatically purged after processing.
